People Helping People…

Just as the credit union motto, "People Helping People," suggests, Sheboygan Area Credit Union (SACU) is a not-for-profit financial services organization owned by you, its member-owners. The money you deposit with us goes to help other members who need to borrow money.

By opening a SACU savings account, you gain member-owner status. Member-owners must retain at least one share in a Share (or regular) Savings Account to remain active members. The SACU Board of Directors includes volunteers selected by the membership to serve the credit union. All earnings more than operating expenses are returned to SACU members in the form of greater savings rates, lower loan rates, more free services, lower fees, and a wealth of convenient services designed to make credit union membership the best it can be.

The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) insures all deposits made at SACU against losses up to $250,000 per title. SACU is monitored and regulated by the NCUA as well as the State of Wisconsin.
